Baileys Salted Caramel Martini
Shake things up with a Baileys Salted Caramel Martini and let the good times pour!
Ingredients:
8 Baileys Salted Caramel Chocolate Truffles
Caramel Sauce
40ml Baileys Original Cream
40ml Salted Caramel Vodka
Bowl of Ice
Pinch of salt
3 tablespoons of Brown Sugar
Method:
- Unwrap truffles and melt in a small bowl in a microwave. Save 2 truffles for later/decoration
- Stir until smooth
- Add a tablespoon of hot water to loosen the mixture
- Decorate the inside of the glass with strokes of drizzled chocolate (don’t use it all) and caramel sauce.
- Place glass in freezer to chill and set.
- Pour half of the melted chocolate into a saucer/small bowl (big enough to be able to dip the rim of the glass)
- Pour the brown sugar in a small bowl along with a pinch of salt, mix together.
- Dip the rim of the glass in the chocolate
- Then dip the rim of the glass in the sugar and salt mixture
- Place back in the fridge to set and chill
- Mix the Baileys liqueur with the melted chocolate, you may need to slightly warm the chocolate again in order to do this. Mix it in, add a teaspoon of hot water if the mixture needs loosening.
- Add ice to your cocktail shaker
- Pour in vodka
- Pour in Baileys chocolate mixture
- Shake well
- Strain the cocktail into the glass.
- Using a cocktail stick pierce the truffle and treat the truffle as you would an olive. Place on the edge of the glass.
- Enjoy!
