Baileys Salted Caramel Martini

Shake things up with a Baileys Salted Caramel Martini and let the good times pour!

Ingredients: 

8 Baileys Salted Caramel Chocolate Truffles​

Caramel Sauce​

40ml Baileys Original Cream​ 

40ml Salted Caramel Vodka​

Bowl of Ice

Pinch of salt​

3 tablespoons of Brown Sugar

Method: 

  1. Unwrap truffles and melt in a small bowl in a microwave. Save 2 truffles for later/decoration​
  2. Stir until smooth​
  3. Add a tablespoon of hot water to loosen the mixture​
  4. Decorate the inside of the glass with strokes of drizzled chocolate (don’t use it all) and caramel sauce.​
  5. Place glass in freezer to chill and set.​
  6. Pour half of the melted chocolate into a saucer/small bowl (big enough to be able to dip the rim of the glass)​
  7. Pour the brown sugar in a small bowl along with a pinch of salt, mix together.​
  8. Dip the rim of the glass in the chocolate​
  9. Then dip the rim of the glass in the sugar and salt mixture​
  10. Place back in the fridge to set and chill​
  11. Mix the Baileys liqueur with the melted chocolate, you may need to slightly warm the chocolate again in order to do this. Mix it in, add a teaspoon of hot water if the mixture needs loosening.​
  12. Add ice to your cocktail shaker​
  13. Pour in vodka​
  14. Pour in Baileys chocolate mixture​
  15. Shake well​
  16. Strain the cocktail into the glass.​
  17. Using a cocktail stick pierce the truffle and treat the truffle as you would an olive. Place on the edge of the glass.​
  18. Enjoy!
